Why do heart's always remember and forgot to forget?
I was wondering why my heart seem to remember everything? Even the smallest and simplest detail of a certain event is so vivid that everything looks and feel like it just happened yesterday.
Looks like my heart was never taught how to forget and was only taught to remember.

hmmmm...
well, I think i am finally back in the blogger's world, the reports and meetings finally subsided and the new branch of our business is up and running, and i am very ready to accept a more peaceful and relax life. Just me and my computer and an office just me updating my blog haha.
How funny when things happen, everything just pour out, like a heavy rain and you just don't know where to go just not to get wet and feel bad about it.
But sometimes the more you hide and fell sorry about the rain the more you become alone and lonely.
But when you start facing and learning to have fun in the rain that you would be more productive, and more happy about it.
The rain may make us wet and drain in rain water, but water is a source of life.
Next time if rain come pouring again, why don't you try and take a splash? enjoy it and learn to love it, because rain is a part of our life, if we see the rain as an enemy, now i think is the right time to make it an ally.
wow... did i make sense? hehehe

Just looking back...
I hated numbers as a student. I sometimes fell asleep in classes that dealt with numbers, well, okey I always sleep and skip my mathematics class. I am confused with the long solutions they present in every mathematical problem. I don't know why the solution have to be very long and confusing. And i don't have any interest in them.
I love stories and poems so i took Literature as a major, and i did well. Unfortunately fate played its trick and i was suddenly enveloped in a job that does not only include numbers but live with numbers.
I detest the job and plan on quitting, but then an angel just made me love numbers, made me understand and use them in my daily life. Well sometimes if you're in love, There's nothing you can do for the one that you love, and wella! Here I am numbers all around me, long solutions for a very simple mathematical problem and a mathematical problem that sometimes trick and treat you!
I learned to love the job and i really cared and love it and was rewarded! Unfortunately the angel who taught me love what i am doing took its flight and never came back in my arms.
I still remember her sometimes but the fellings no longer hurts. I remember the girl but i dont remember the feelings anymore hehe.
I am just very thankful she helped me love numbers.
I dont know why i am writting this maybe just to show my gratitude for her efforts and her efforts was not put to waste.
I was slumped for a long time for her lost but now i am ready to face her and say thank you without any hurt feelings in my heart.

Tagalog Na Tunay
A young, good-looking representative from Laguna sponsored a bill recommending Filipino language be used in all levels of accounting firms and banking institutions. The Solon claimed it will provide a better understanding of the business transactions for those who are inexperienced and non-English speaking citizens.
The bill received unanimous approval from the House and was presented to the President for signature to become the law of the land. But in spite of the overwhelming pressure from the members of Congress, President Gloria Arroyo vetoed the bill.
Why?
She found out that when the English "business" words are translated in Tagalog, they sound very malicious and are "nakaka-hiya at nakaka-kilabot! "
Here are a few sample words - English to Tagalog
- Asset - Ari
- Fixed Asset - Nakatirik na ari
- Liquid Asset - Basang ari
- Solid Asset - Matigas na ari
- Owned Asset - Sariling pag-aari
- Other Asset - Ari ng iba
- False Asset - Ari-ari-an
- Miscellaneous Asset - Iba-ibang klaseng ari
- Asset Write off - Pinutol na pagaari
- Depreciation of Asset - Laspag na pag-aari
- Fully Depreciated Asset - Laspag na laspag na pag-aari
- Earning asset - Tumutubong pag-aari
- Working Asset - Ganado pa ang ari
- Non-earning Asset - Baldado na ang ari
- Erroneous Entry - Mali ang pagkaka-pasok
- Double Entry - Dalawang beses ipinasok
- Multiple Entry - Labas pasok nang labas pasok
- Correcting Entry - Itinama ang pagpasok
- Reversing Entry - Baligtad ang pagkakapasok
- Dead Asset - Patay na ang ARI
hahaha....

A very early christmas post...
The celebration of Christmas in the Philippines officially begins on the 16th of December and ends on the first Sunday of January which is the Feast of the Epiphany (The Three Kings), but as early as September Christmas songs and carols could already be heard from different radio stations. It is quite different from the other countries of the world, it is the longest of the Philippine festivities stretching for over 3 weeks. This makes the Filipino Christmas celebration one of the longest Christmas season in the world. A rich tradition which dates back to the Spanish period.
Christmas or "Pasko" is the most awaited celebration and happiest event in the Philippines. This is also the time of the year when family get together, especially when family members from overseas come home with lots of "pasalubong" gifts. exchanging gifts and the family feast highligh the most loved celebration.
What makes the Filipino Christmas unique? Filipinos have a lot of Christmas tradition which makes us different from the other. Here are some of them:
- Parol - Filipino Christmas Lantern
As early as November, Filipinos houses offices, schools, shoppingmalls and even streets are adorned with these star-shaped multicolored lanterns.

- Filipino Christmas Tradition - Simbang Gabi
"Simbang Gabi" a Filipino Christmas tradition, it is is a series of nine (9) dawn masses, the mass starts as early as 4:00 a.m. It begins on December 16 and ends on the midnight of the 24th of December.

- Christmas Caroling in the Philippines
Once the "Simbang Gabi" starts, children like to form groups and enjoy hopping from one house to another every night singing Jingle Bells, Silent Night and traditional Filipino Christmas songs.

- Monito Monita - Exchange Gifts
Christmas is the season of gift giving. In keeping with the tradition of giving, Filipinos have their own version of exchanging gifts or Kris Kringle, it is called Monito - Monita
Christmas Tree
Christmas is not complete without Christmas tree. Since pine trees grows only in a few places in the Philippines, not everybody can afford to have a fresh Christmas tree. Filipinos have created unique and original Christmas tree using different kinds oflocal materials, from recycled materials to a more exqusite form of art.
Giant, well lighted and decorated trees are a sight to behold in the city street, malls, parks and office building facades. Some big companies put their Christmas display with a different theme every year, and become a very popular attraction during the Christmas season.
Just like anywhere in the world Christmas tree is not complete without the gifts beneath and around the tree with eager children waiting for their gifts to be open on Christmas morning.

Noche Buena
In the Philippines the much-anticipated Noche Buena - a traditional Christmas Eve feast is eaten after the midnight mass, usually Filipinos attend the Midnight Mass and then return home for a family feast called Noche Nuena,
Some family who don't go to church for some reasons, dine together around 12 midnight on traditional Noche Buena fare, but this varies from family to family.

Noche Buena is a very special occasion for Filipinos, they used their best china and silver ware and cooked their best recipe. Food that are usually serve depends on the specialty of the family but there is always something special serve. The most popular are morcon, embutido, relyenong bangus, lumpia, pansit, and for those who can afford the "Lechon ( roasted pig)
There is always ham on the table but usually not eaten right away, it waits until morning when sliced and fried for breakfast accompanied with Pan de Americano ( also known as sliced bread).
Suman sa ibos or sumang Pasko ( glutinous rice wrapped in banana leaves or coconut leaves ) served with Halayang Ube and leche flan (egg custard) are the most popular desert.
Noche Buena is a statement of the Filipino Family close ties, It is not only about food, it is a family tradition.

Christmas Day
Christmas Day in The Philippines is primarily a family affair. For those who were not able to attend the Midnight mass, there are masses celebrated during the day and usually in the late afternoon.
Most families with young children usually attend this mass. Children wear their new clothes and shoes to go to mass and after the mass, they visit members of the extended family, notably the elders in order to pay their respect.
This custom has been an age-old tradition in the Philippines called "Pagmamano" this is done by touching one's forehead to the elder's hand saying "Mano Po". The elder then blesses the person who paid respect. "Aguinaldo" can be in the form of a gift or money given after the Pagmamano, most usually to younger children.

Christmas Lunch is is usually a reunion of family members. Well-to-do families tend to prepare grand and glorious feasts Some families choose to cook simple meals, nevertheless still special. Christmas day is a day for children to visit their uncles, aunts, godmothers and godfathers. Usually children are presented with a gift, candy, money or toys. Kids love to count their Aguinaldos as they go to their Christmas round.
In every home that you visit, you will always be offered food to eat because every family have made something especially for this day.
Christmas Eve gathering provides an opportunity for a reunion of immediate and distant family members and good time for a drink of Filipinos' most loved "San Miguel" beer with friends and family.
At the end of the day, Filipino Christmas is about family closeness and everyone wishes good cheer and glad tidings.
- New Year celebration in the Philippines
New Year's eve celebration in the Philippines is quite different compared to other countries. Filipinos literally start the year with a bang.
Feast of the Three Kings
Christmas officially ends on the Feast of the Three Kings (Tatlong Hari in Tagalog), also known as the Feast of the Epiphany. The Feast of the Three Kings was traditionally commemorated on Jan. 6 but is now celebrated on the first Sunday after the New Year.
Some children leave their shoes out, so that the Three Kings would leave behind gifts like candy or money inside.
After the Feast of the Three Kings that is when all the Christmas decorations are removed.

Stress in the workplace is not a new phenomenon, but it is a greater threat to employee health and well-being than ever before. While technology has made aspects of many jobs easier, it has also added to the anxieties of office life through information overload, heightened pressure for productivity, and a threatening sense of impermanence in the workplace. In 1996, the World Health Organization labeled stress a “worldwide epidemic.” Today, workplace stress is estimated to cost billion a year in poor performance, absenteeism and health costs.
What is workplace stress?
Stress—the responses our bodies and minds have to the demands placed on them—is a normal part of life and a normal part of any job. Without stress, we wouldn’t meet deadlines, strive to hit sales or production targets, or line up new clients. Meeting the demands and challenges of a job is part of what makes work interesting and satisfying, and it’s often what allows people to develop new skills and advance in their careers. In the workplace, we regularly experience stress-causing situations, react to them with heightened tension, then return to a more relaxed state when the crisis, big or small, is resolved. However, problems occur when stress is so overwhelming or constant that the tension never abates and we never get to relax.
What we think of as “job stress” is what happens when:
- The challenges and demands of work become excessive.
- The pressures of the workplace surpass workers’ abilities to handle them.
- Satisfaction becomes frustration and exhaustion.
When stress crosses the line from normal to excessive, it can trigger physical and emotional responses that are harmful to employees and businesses alike. And unfortunately, for many people “stress” has become synonymous with “work.”

after...
its been a few weeks since i finally accepted i have a broken heart and healed it! I had been doing great and i love the feeling of being free, of being someone you were once!
The carefree days is once more in my arms without regrets and burdens that usually been in my heart for several years, well i thought it was the end of the world, but i was a fool to think it that way and today i am very glad the war is finally over and I stand victorious from all the odds!
There's nothing left to do but to move on after a fall".
I miss the feelings of being free, to be able to walk in the streets again with your head up, because others may not know it but deep in your heart you know you won a battle and you stand victorious!

My killer Habit!
Unfortunately there are things that are hard to forget, and definitely smoking is one of them. I tried quitting several times but i just can't resist! I know it's just self discipline, but its not as easy saying it! But i am still trying to find ways to forget this killer habit!

Great words...
But only true friends will leave footprints in your heart.
To handle yourself, use your head;
To handle others, use your heart.
Anger is only one letter short of danger.
If someone betrays you once, it is his fault;
If he betrays you twice, it is your fault.
Great minds discuss ideas;
Average minds discuss events;
Small minds discuss people.
He who loses money, loses much;
He, who loses a friend, loses much more;
He, who loses faith, loses all.
Beautiful young people are accidents of nature,
But beautiful old people are works of art.
Learn from the mistakes of others.
You can't live long enough to make them all yourself.
Friends, you and me....
You brought another friend....
And then there were 3....
We started our group....
Our circle of friends....
And like that circle....
There is no beginning or end....
Yesterday is history.
Tomorrow is mystery.
Today is a gift.

flame in my heart!
For so long the flame in my heart is just a flicker, so small that it is just enough to warm my lonely heart and thats what it only do, warm it and nothing more.
I thought that would be alright, but then i just felt something is lacking, i tried to find it and the flame started to become steady, now it not only warms my heart but give light to it too.
Day after day the desire to find what i am looking is growing more and more intense and as i approach the end of my journey the flame in my heart started to rise!
I only hope i will be able to maintain the flame to guide and show me the way as i journey to LIFE!

Just another song!
Do not blame love, just you making wrong choice in loving! Accept you made a mistake and go on living!
I know its hard i had been there, but there are thousand and one ways to heal a broken heart, just don't be stupid in doing the same mistakes!

GIFT!
Yesterday is a history, Tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift!
Well i had my share of worrying too much of what happened, lingered too much of the past and nothing changed!
Accepting the present would lighten your burden and let history teach you, let the present guide you for the gift that tomorrow brings and enjoy the best of life as tomorrow unpack its mystery in your hands!
Am i making sense?
hahaha!

A better tomorrow!

for so long sleepless nights haunted me, memories of the past making me awake all night, thinking of everything yet staring to nothing!
Yeah i am getting nuts but then suddenly, sleep begin to caress me, making me sleep like a baby, worries started to leave me and with better sleep i am now getting a better view of the future, and i love it!
the future might not always turn to what we want it, but to have a better perception of it makes us more willing to wake up and embrace what tomorrow offer us!
shrugging off the memories of the past is not easy but chose a memory that would make you step further is wiser than choosing a memory that would make you fall and never want to stand, and make you a loser forever, its not easy but there are hundreds of ways if you really want it! I learned that the hard way, But i am happy about it and i hope the future offers more than what i expected!
I had my own bruises and cuts as i fought my war, I have not won it but i learned from it and it gave me strength and determination to live and go on living!
How i did it? I dont know, i just choose a better memory, the one that makes my heart yearn for the future and not embrace those painful memory that only cause me pain!
And i think that helped me! I hope that will help you too if your heart was once broken!
